Аннотация: в статье рассматривается проблема влияния философии М. Мендельсона на социокультурные изменения в еврейских общинах Германии и Центральной Европы в 18 столетии. Также специально изучаются современные историографические дискуссии о взаимосвязи взглядов М. Мендельсона и еврейского Просвещения (Гаскалы).
Abstract: in my article I discuss the issue concerning influence of Moses Mendelssohn's philosophy on social and cultural transformations in Jewish communities in Germany and the Central Europe. I also deal with some recent historiographical debates and strategies to study connections between Mendelssohn's ideas and the Jewish Enlightenment (Haskala).
